If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or 'Black Rainstorm' warning is announced by the Hong Kong Observatory before the Pre-conference Workshop (May 27) or Conference (May 28-29) begins but is downgraded to ‘Amber’ by 11 a.m., the Workshop or Conference will begin with the afternoon session for that day and lunch will be cancelled.
If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or 'Black Rainstorm' warning is announced before the Workshop or Conference begins and is not lifted by 12 p.m., the Workshop or Conference on that day is cancelled. Please note this may include the Welcome reception (May 27) or Conference dinner (May 28).
In the event Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or 'Black Rainstorm' warning is announced during the Workshop or Conference, the event will continue and staff at the Workshop or Conference will announce the arrangements to be made. Please note in the event that inclement weather (Black Rainstorm or Typhone) forces the Conference Committee to cancel the Workshop and/or Conference completely, there will not be any refund of registration fee.

1. all the processing of registration to the 5th International m-libraries Conference and other relevant purposes; and
2. future announcements from M-libraries Conferences and other conferences organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
